Hey there Fambly! Lots of fun adventures are happening everywhere--Mom and Pops are painting the house and then OFF to Utica, Noah and Cici are emmigrating, and Cody's auditioning non-stop. I myself have the world's smallest adventures.
On Saturday we had an event for pet owners, a "pet parade" with a pet/owner look-alike contest and other such nonsense. A photographer came to take official portraits of pets and their owners. I was working, but my co-worker Laurie was super-nice and allowed me to run out for about an hour to get my picture taken with the kitties.
Branden and I carried Squish and Tayler over to the community center. As soon as we started heading down the stairs into the quagmire of dogs, they started up the yowl machines, but were otherwise very well-behaved. They were the only cats in attendance and a whole bunch of people came up and petted the crap out of them, which confused them a little bit ("What? I'm trying to be upset over here but this feels sooooo gooooood"), and then the photographer's room was large and free from any other animals, so they were able to prowl around a little bit and get their bearings. We had several pictures taken, and the cats were surprisingly cooperative, and then we took them home--and even they seemed sort of exhilerated by the experience. They both went outside, hung out in the living room, and snuggled with us that night, so they seemed to not have any lingering anger (which they usually express by hiding under beds and glaring at us).
Anyway, here are the pictures we had taken, and I think they turned out very well:

Then, on Sunday, Branden and I went to Elitch's, then spontaneously caught a movie. After that, we went over to Joe and Sarah's to roleplay. Fun times were had by all.
Monday, I got a haircut, and it's super-cute. Branden picked up some new shoes on Pearl, and we took a walk around down there. The rest of the day was very relaxing and good, with reading, movies, video games.
Unfortunately, I haven't gotten out to work out at all since last Monday. I actually made that decision, but I'm getting back on the horse tomorrow morning. My joints are getting all squeaky.
Okay, love you guys!

Workout routine: Week 2 winding down
Hello fam damly! Short update from me. I worked out 3 times this week so far (Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and I'm going to try to squeeze in a workout after work, before heading down to Denver for the Jonathan Coulton concert. I hope I am able to, I always feel so good after working out, and judging by my yawns this morning, I think it has a very good effect on my energy levels.
Despite 4-times-a-week workouts for the last 2 weeks, I seem to be gaining weight rather than losing it. I know that muscle weighs more than fat, and I know I'm doing a good job, but it's still slightly discouraging.
Well, that's it for now! Talk to you all soon!

BBQ and Workout Routine
Hello Fam! Small news post today.
First off, my tooth-related New Month Resolution is holding up under pressure. Haven't missed any days in the Month of September so far. My teeth are singing, and that's awesome.
The New Month Resolution regarding working out hasn't been so easy to uphold. First day of workout was last Friday; Saturday I had to Wii Fit instead of going to the gym and while that's good, it's not AS good. Sunday I had a nice 70-minute bike ride, which definitely counted, Monday we cleaned for 5 hours and I called that a workout. Tuesday I didn't do anything physical because I had the infusion and then D&D... and BBQ, but let me get to that in a sec.
But Wednesday... ah Wednesday. I had made (tentative?) plans with Shad to work out that evening, but I know that Shad can be flakey so I was planning on working out that morning. However, I didn't get myself out of bed in time for that. Happily, Shad was as good as his word and showed up at about 6:30 for our workout, only to find out that his cat had peed on his workout bag!!! Ugh!!! But the in-unit washer/dryer to the rescue... a mere hour and a half later his clothes were washed, dried, unstinky and ready to go, so we headed over to the rec center. The machine that I used was a wee bit broken (crossramp couldn't be raised/lowered), but it was a great workout anyway. Afterwards, we staggered back home and watched Branden play video games for a while, then had dinner together. All in all, a very fun night.
This morning, I got up at 7:15 (should have been out the door by then, but better late than never) and headed over to the rec center again. Sadly, I had to use the broken elliptical machine again (but I had reported it to the manager the night before, so it should be getting fixed today or tomorrow), but again, a very good workout. Home again for an AWESOME shower (that's the best thing about working out--the subsequent shower feels SO good), breakfast, and off to work, and here I am!
I'm hoping to start my workouts earlier, about 6:30, in hopes of Sarah joining me, and Joe and Branden if they don't have to leave for work super-early. However, I'm happy to be doing them at all at this point.
Okay, so BBQ. We bought an awesome gas grill before Branden got sick, and we finally put it together on Monday. We decided to host a BBQ on Tuesday before D&D since B & I had the day off; so we grilled up some burgers, brats, and veggie burgers. Carlie brought corn on the cob and Rachel brought grapes and strawberries, and we had ourselves a bit of a feast. Overall, a roaring success!!! I am VERY happy with our grill. The grill bits are removeable porcelain-covered steel with a removeable grease trap, so it was relatively easy to clean in the sink with a scrubby. So much fun!
I believe it was that night that Squish caught a mouse-thing out on the patio. It didn't look like a pet store mouse, more like a mouse-sized gerbil; it had a short furry tail rather than a long pink tail. But I think that might be what wild mice look like. Anyway, he's getting to be quite the rodent-killer. However, with every rodent-kill he scores, he goes out and tries to pick fights with bigger cats.
I had decided that the way he interacts with strange cats was natural territory-marking and that if he could establish his territory with a given cat, he may then be able to be playmates with the cat. So, my new policy had been, only if there are two cats yowling at each other (meaning that the other cat yowls back) would I go out and break it up. The second cat yowling would mean that the second cat did not accept Squish's assertion of territory and was willing to fight about it; staying quiet means they don't want to contest it. Last night, while I was out working out, apparently Squish tried to pick a fight with an "enormous" black cat, and that cat was having none of his posturing. Branden broke it up, whew.
So... anyway. That's about it for now. I love you guys!

Wow... now I feel boring
Cody's life being so busy and comparatively exciting, all of a sudden the little bit of news I wanted to talk about is very mundane. Oh well, here goes nothin'.
Branden put in a solid week of 10-12 hour days last week with not nearly enough sleep- or fun-time. Unpredictably, he's sick today, miserably at home playing miserable video games with a pair of miserable cats (right?). Excitingly, The Big One has committed to ThinIdentity and they're shipping out something like 3,000 units for their Proof-of-Concept (initial trial, essentially). Once the PoC is complete they'll be needing something like 50,000 units... yay! ThinIdentity is anticipating this influx of cash and is moving into a bigger office with AIR CONDITIONING so that the programmers no longer have to melt. Happily, it is just as conveniently located as the current office--right off 16th St in Denver!
I got up at 7 yesterday and went to work out at the Rec Center--very good workout, it always makes me feel so good. I've made a New Month's Resolution to work out daily, so today I got up at 7 to go work out again, but apparently they don't open till 8 on weekends! Booo! So I went home and did a Wii Fit yoga workout instead. Not quite as good, but... getting there.
I've also made a New Month's Resolution to floss, brush, and Act every day, and that's been going well. It's not so bad if you just do it.
Anyway, that's all I got! Love you guys!

Life and more life! Not as awesome as Cody, but...
Some possible exciting MS news: Scientists reversed MS in mice. Here and here. Sounds like research is still years away from even trying this on humans, and it says it's only effective while MS is in its earliest stages, but you never know what the future may bring...
Also, more MS/health news.
I've had 7 infusions so far, 5 more to go (the next is on September 8) before going off Tysabri in order to ensure that PML does not infest my brainmeats and turn me into a superhero with x-ray vision. I spoke with Dr. Vollmer about this exciting (?) new transition this past Monday the 24th of August. For the last 3 months of the treatment, I'm going to be overlapping Tysabri and Copaxone in order to avoid a "rebound" effect from going off of Tysabri. In addition, the good Doctor said that there is no problem with going off Tysabri and then going back on it at some point later in life; meaning, the body doesn't build up a resistance to it. Also, the negative effect that I felt from Copaxone is apparently part of how the drug works, and is one of the reasons some people go off of it; the injection sites were so itchy, for me, that I would unconsciously itch deep bruises into my legs and arms. It is an allergic reaction that is part of its effectiveness. I don't know; maybe I can take benedryl concurrently with my injection to lower the effects, or maybe I'm doomed! Doomed to a life of unending itchyness!
By the way, don't try to read patient reviews of MS medication. It makes me want to move into a cave and just let the disease take me because so many people have had such bad reactions... Anyway.
So, everything's going great in our new apartment. It's close enough to being "complete" that we've gotten pretty behind on putting in the finishing touches--hanging pictures, putting the last few things away, etc. Every week we make plans to finish it up but every week something comes up. It doesn't help that the only day off we have together is Sunday. But Eventually, We Will Prevail.
Noah, I'm starting to use the shampoo that you and Cici got me for my birthday tomorrow (I wanted to finish the stuff I was using before switching) and I'll keep you updated on how awesome it is. Though the bottles are so small I may actually end up saving them for travel shampoos. =)
In other news, everything's going well with Branden's job. It's demanded some late nights from him recently, but it's the good kind of working late. He's going to be getting a promotion/raise after they complete the project they're on, so that's exciting.
Branden's brothers are safely in Longmont. Their new apartment is very cute, sort of like a mini-Horizons. The apartment is very small but nicely designed, with in-unit washer dryer and on-site workout facilities, very exciting. I'm so happy those guys are on their feet again and doing well.
Branden and I went up to Placerville, CA a few weekends ago to visit his grandparents. His grandpa is in bad shape; they're pretty sure he has Parkinson's though he doesn't have the classic Parkinson's symptoms. He's not able to walk anymore (really, not able to move at all without assistance), so he stays in his hospital bed all day, except when the nurses come to bathe him. He's pretty demented as well. Branden's grandma spends all day in the house, trying to feed him and make sure he's comfortable. Her life is very focused now, and she doesn't have anything to say that doesn't have to do with Grandpa and his illness, so being there was very hard for me. I only went into Grandpa's room once, but I couldn't stand to see the state he was in, so I left after just a few seconds. It was really sad, more than anything else, so it was probably a good thing that Grandma shooed us out of the house more of the time than we were in it, to go to Lake Tahoe and Sacramento. Those parts were fun.
Work's going fine, nothing really to report there. Squish and Tayler are now allowed out of the house on their own; Squish likes going out at all times of day but Tayler only wants to go out after dark. Last Saturday, Squish killed a bunny on our balcony--a baby bunny, about the size of a hamburger. I heard a weird thump and went to open the door, and there was Squish and the bunny, who was on its side kicking itself around in a circle. We think Squish must have broken its back because we didn't see any blood. It died pretty fast and we cleaned it up; it was with a heavy heart that I named Squish "mighty hunter" and gave him an admonishment to only kill things he wanted to eat. I don't think he got it.
Pretty much every night since then I've had to go out and collect Squish at about 10pm because I hear him yodeling, which is the sound he makes when he's establishing his territory to another cat or similarly large animal that he hesitates to attack outright. Every time I've gone out to get him, he seems pretty thankful that I was able to remove him from the situation without hurting his pride. Silly cat. If he doesn't want to fight, he should be less territorial.
My workout routine has been sporadic at best because I seem to have misplaced my iPod. I don't like working out without it =(
Anyway, that's about all I have to say for now. I love you guys! Hope everything's awesome forever!

Starting the new year early
Hello Fam! I miss you so much already, it's ridiculous. I don't know why I leave. *sigh* Oh well, what can you do? Not a whole heck of a lot. I'm looking forward to much iChatting with all of you, now that we are all capable. :) Except for Dad. Dad doesn't get to iChat. So there.
Back to being a workin' stiff. It's kinda strange to be back, and yet very normal too. We're closed new year's day, so that's something to look forward to--though B and I are planning on cleaning our room which may actually take all day. Whee.
Speaking of new year's, I've implemented (most of) my resolutions early. Last night, we ate some soup for dinner, I brushed, flossed, Listerine'd and ACT'ed. This morning I had cereal; for lunch I'm having a salad. In other words, I'm getting back on the diet horse. B's gonna get me a membership to the CU gym on spouse rates, and as soon as that's set up I'm gonna go work out every day I can. That'll really feel good, I think. It'll probably help suppress my MS symptoms.
Anyway, I don't really have a lot to say, just that I love everyone and miss you all. Happy new years! Take it easy out there, and be diligent in your resolutions--remember, even if you let them lapse, that's no reason to not resume them! <3 Love you guys!

WHEW! Fast and furious!
Well, today I wrote an 11-page paper. Quite seriously, I wrote the entire thing...today. My brain is broken. I am so sick of talking about why Britain should switch to the Euro, I can't even tell you guys.
So, that's two papers of 3 done. And the next I HAVE to get done this weekend, so that my prof can look it over, correct it, make suggestions and whatnot. While I've done quite a bit of research, I haven't actually started typing it yet. Though, doing this paper today has raised my confidence in my ability to crank out papers.
Anyway, my brain has narrowed to a pinpoint focus, zeroing in on the end of the year, and that's partially a huge burdonsome stress and sometimes a relief that I don't actually have to think about anything else. So, I've worked out Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, skipped today to write my paper, and am going back in tomorrow. It feels so good!
Don't really have much to say other than "GAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" so I'ma gonna take off. Love to all of you shnibs!

Momentary Lull
All right, I haven't posted in forever and ever. I was sorta waiting for a "stopping place," but then I realized that there was no such thing. So, yeah, here I am, updating.
Over Spring Break, Branden and I went home to tie down some wedding stuff. Though every day was busy, there's not a lot to report that's actually interesting. On Monday, Mom, Dad, Branden and I went out to Blue Lake Ranch and talked about such enthralling things as whether or not to have a head table, where to position the buffets, whether to have the napkins folded on the plates v. in the water goblets, and so forth. It made all of us feel like we were way behind schedule, because we hadn't thought about stuff like that, but I'm fairly certain we're okay. Tuesday, Mom and I went out to the florist and made the final decisions about the flowers. Yay! That's done. Wednesday? Thursday? mom and I went shopping, that was very fun. And, one of those days, Branden and I went and had dinner at his dad's house. That was very nice. And one of those days, B got measured for his tux and picked out the men's ensemble. They're going to be so shark! I discovered that my Italian leather jacket was ripped, which is allegedly getting fixed. Whoo and yay.
The day after we got back from Durango, I had a physical therapy appointment. My PT said that I'm doing so well that we'll have one more appointment in the "middle" of May (actually the 7th, but she said that's cool too), and then unless something went very wrong, I would no longer have regularly scheduled appointments. Yay! Then, Aunt Jo took me out to pick up our wedding rings. They're very classy, and engraved and stuff. I like 'em.
Let's see...I'm about to start research for my senior essay. A little behind schedule, but I've got lots 'n' lots of sources, so it should be okay. Last night, Branden and I went to an India Arie concert, who is an artist I really like, and Noah had me pick up some tickets for his CSU friends (which they paid me back already, so no worries there) and we had a great time. Very awesome. Afterwards we went to IHOP with Steph, Shad, Dan, Joe, and Sarah. It's been a while since we saw Steph and Shad, and hung out with any of the rest of them just for the sake of hanging out.
Shots are going just fine. I stopped using my arms, both in anticipation of the wedding and because it has really, really hurt the last few times I've done it there.
Mommy & Daddy--Thanks for the Easter candy!!!! I'm very excited to have it.
I've worked out 3 times this week--go me! I'm proud of myself. It gets easier every time.
I miss everyone! Love you guys so much!!! Talk to you soon! Happy birthday, Cody!!!

Big dumb-head
Hello everyone, posting sooner than I anticipated. Funny story, that. (NOT)
Well, things are going fine here, nothing much to report. As I commented to Cody's last post, I've been hitting the gym 2-3 times per week and I can definitely tell a difference. I have a paper due in Political Parties and Pressure Groups tomorrow, but I emailed my teacher to get an extention so that I can prepare for the tests I have to take this week. >_< She was really cool about it, and is letting me turn it in next week.
Other news...Mom and Dad know this story: on Monday I got an e-mail from CU Denver saying that they got my application, minus my portfolio. I was freaking out, because they said that they'd received everything else, including the stuff I mailed in the same envelope as my portfolio. This story has a happy ending, though...I called them after my physical therapy appointment (after a good hour, hour and a half of panicking) and told them the situation. The lady said that she maybe hadn't checked the mail yet, and did that right there while I was on the phone. Sure enough, she hadn't, and it was right there, so yay. Turns out that the things I sent in the same envelope (my application fee and the Statement of Purpose) were a confusion: you know how I had to write two essays which were essentially the same? Well, turns out that the one on the application counts as the statement of purpose; I didn't have to do the other one. She must just have assumed that she'd received my app fee. I shouldn't have paid them. >_<
I heard from John (Boo's son) about her website. He's not incredibly coherent and I wish I could talk to her about it, but we've got the show on the road for her website.
So, my not-so-funny story: Yesterday, when I got home from school, I took a nap that was supposed to be a half hour to an hour, but lasted about 3-4 hours instead. Whoops. Then, last night, after my shot, I started getting a headache. So, I took 1 IBuprofin and 1 Tylenol PM to help me sleep. I woke up this morning feeling like a zombie again, and managed to walk out the door without my backpack, and didn't realize I didn't have it until I was in the parking lot. I went back to get it and was zooming towards the bus stop. I saw the bus coming, so I started running (I can do that now, yay!!). The bus pulled up and I didn't see anyone at the stop, and the doors were closed, but the bus stopped so I thought they saw me. I kept running and was about 20 feet from the bus when it pulled away. >_< CURSES!!! So I'm taking the 9:25 bus and will probably be about 5 minutes late to my class. What a bummer.
Anyway, love to everyone! <3

WHEW!
Okay, so I've been absent for a while. There's a good reason for that. Only one. My Grad School Application.
I kinda thought that after I finished it and submitted it, I'd get on here and have a lot to say. Well, I don't. But I'll talk anyway.
So, for my grad school application, there were three things I had to do which were really work-intensive. 1, my portfolio. 2, my statement of purpose (essay). 3, my description of plans (essay). The portfolio was fun to put together. I took pictures/had my friend Shad take pictures of my artwork, got 8x10 prints of them at Target, and glued them to 8.5x11 black construction paper w/ a little title/medium/dimensions placard underneath, and put them into the portfolio sheaths. I also edited and printed out an old story of mine as an example of creative writing, and an essay I did last semester for an example of analytical writing. It ended up being 18 pages long, where it was supposed to be 6-12. I hope they don't look down on going over the limit 0o
Anyway, I finished it for good the day before it was due...in Denver. So, I borrowed Shad's car after I finished my workout, around 1:30, and 1. went home, printed out the final copies of the story/essay, checked over the portfolio to make sure it looked good. Wrote a $50 check for application fee. Wrote down the mailing address at CU Denver. 2. Went to the grocery store for mailers (and some groceries). In the parking lot I spent a good 5 minutes struggling to make the key turn in the ignition (the car is sometimes finicky like that). Finally got it started. 3. Went back home for all the things I forgot. 4. Went to the post office and got express postage for my package. I included my statement of purpose, check, portfolio, and a self-addressed envelope. I got the express postage just fine, but I accidentally printed out postage to Denver instead of to Boulder for my return envelope. No big deal, the lady told me to cut off the bar code and write in my own address on the postage itself. Problem solved (I hope). Then I mailed it. Yay! It got in on time. 5. Went back and picked up Shad from work. By this time it's dumping snow and the roads are ice rinks. Drive home, Shad stays for a little bit and then goes home.
So, that was my portfolio. The actual application (with accompanying essay) was due the next day (today), and I'd hardly started writing the second essay...but I was so relieved at having mailed my portfolio that I couldn't focus on it. I wrote it out this morning, typed it up, got it looked over by my former composition professor, Branden and Carlie, and then submitted it. GRAD SCHOOL APP DONE!!!! *victory music*
Then tonight I wrote a paper about The First Part of King Henry IV (1H4) by Shakespeare. Whee, fun. Well, it's out of the way.
I'm in negotiations with Ben Martinez and Stephanie Williams (two DIFFERENT photographers) about possibly getting a more acceptable price. Ben considers himself a web designer (though I tell ya, he'd never get hired at, say, Brainstorm) so he won't be taking me up on my offer to work his website for a discount, but I pitched the same proposal to Stephanie Williams, saying things like "please let me know if you're at all interested in this" and "I'd be delighted if we could work something out"...I think I was pretty low-pressure.
No bad reaction whatsoever to beginning the full dose of Rebif. Yay!
Oh yeah, and also, a couple of weeks ago Noah called and said he was gonna come up and hang out with me, do homework, get me to look at his hard drive, etc. That was a Tuesday. Then he said he'd probably do it the following Thursday. That was the last I heard of him... I bet he's alive, right?
Anyway...yeah. Not much more to say. Didn't work out today because of the essay, but back in tomorrow. Love yas! <3

Weekly Report
Hey dudes (and dudette), checking in for my weekly report.
As of Tuesday, I went up to the next dosage stage (½ the full dose). No noticeable change, in side effects or actual effect.
Completed the GRE on Saturday (yay!), got a 650 [out of 800] on verbal and either a 640 or 680 [out of 800] on Quantitative Reasoning (math). I've heard that's really good, from Chic. I'm still waiting on a score for my written section, but I think I rocked its socks.
Still need to finish up my actual application and get my portfolio constructed.
Classes are going well, doing a pretty consistent schedule of working out twice a week which I'd really like to get up to 5 days a week, but doctor's appointments and Physical Therapy appointments keep getting in the way. Next PT is tomorrow, the 5th. Been mostly keeping up with the PT exercises but I forgot yesterday, whoops.
Found a promising option for photographer for the wedding. Waiting on word from the 'rents to order invitations. Talked to Jay the cake man, he's still on task and on board. Brothas, I need to talk to you about your wedding-day chores >:]
Aunt Jo invited B and I to dinner tonight, and she's going with me for my PT appointment and neurologist appointment this week. She's such a babe. B went and helped Chic and Paula move some stuff around their house, made $70. Chic's so nice & cool, he's helping B figure out a strategy for his physics minor.
Got a letter from Grandma T yesterday. Wrote back today. Both letters I've gotten from her have said how much she regrets not being closer to us kids throughout our lives, so we're working to rectify that. I know I hate talking on the phone, so I'm gonna plug for you brother-types to write her letters, even a short note would make her day: 14 Greenwood Ct. Utica, NY 13501. It's so easy! and it only costs $.39 to send a letter. Too bad she doesn't have e-mail, that'd be a lot easier, but she still loves to hear from us.
Hmmm. I think that's all for this week. Ma, keep up the skating! Code, remember our goal: 1lb a week! Noah--write me e-mails or something! Dad! You can call me too!
Love to everyone! XOXOXO

News Report
Okay, I had my first physical therapy appointment today. It went very well, considering. Not a whole lot happened, but I think the first appointment is mostly dedicated to figuring out a strategy anyway. Aunt Jo picked me up from school, took me to the appointment, and then without being asked, she waited for me and then brought me home!!! What a babe!
I've made a lot of progress on my application for Grad School. I've got my letters of recommendation secured, I've got transcripts coming from Ft. Lewis, I've got my portfolio at least theoretically constructed (now I have to get the pictures taken/writing pieces printed), the app itself mostly done, and I'm registered to take the GRE this Saturday...Things remaining on the agenda: Finish the app itself, send them the fee, get the portfolio FULLY done (and mailed), get transcripts requested from Metro and CU, TAKE the GRE. Whee! this is so fun! (NOT) Oh well, I feel accomplished. If I can multitask like this as an undergrad, look out world!
Thursday I got two handouts that, when I tried to read them today, I saw that they were both even-sides-only. Whoops! Well, lightens my load for tonight (but probably makes it heavier tomorrow).
I move up to my higher (but not full) dose tomorrow. I anticipate more severe stinging, more severe side-effects and possible site reaction. Wish me luck! I go back to working out tomorrow, and that's a good thing.
Also, I'm thinking wedding! Just to let you parents know, I really want to be involved in selecting the photographer. WHEE!
Also, I got my FAFSA for next year filled out and my state taxes filed. Now I just gotta do federal. Look how on the ball I am!
Hmm. I don't know. Brothas, yous guys gots to post more. I miss you! You're both bad at calling and e-mailing (like I'm much better), but we can meet here...in cyberspace!!! Anyway, this concludes this broadcast of The Elly Show. <3

I feel like I'm talking to myself!
So, today I went and worked out after class as I've been doing, and for the first time I could sorta feel my motor start running again. I was able to keep up the pace on the elliptical machines, whereas before I was mostly plodding my way through it. I feel like a major key to keeping my symptoms or "attacks" down is to keep working out, or at least maintain that level of physical activity. My legs (feet especially) were being weird before the workout...pins and needles that came and went in waves, very strange, but after the workout I can feel my whole body (except my stomach). Anyway, keep having good thoughts for me and encouraging me to keep up the good work!

Yecchhh...
Last night was my 4th shot, and since I'd been getting zombie-like the next day but no other symptoms, I thought it might have been because of the Tylenol PM. WRONG. I didn't take any Tylenol last night, woke up this morning with a splitting headache, took two Excedrin and promptly threw them back up. Had to go to school anyway, but no gym for me today. Will post more later...

Second Shot
Hello familial units! I have to keep this short, 17 minutes till class. Last night I had my second shot--my first unaided by professionals! It stung more than the first one, but that was because of the medicine, not the needle. [As an aside, I have this neat little device that clips the needles off syringes. VERY convenient because it can hold 10 years worth of needles, and otherwise I'd have to throw every syringe away in a specially marked container made of thick durable plastic. Now I can just toss the neutered syringe into the trash, and go about my business.] I was a trooper, and it was easy. I got to use the auto-injector, and that made it a lot less scary. I took some Tylenol PM right beforehand. I was able to stay awake long enough to finish my homework reading, but man, it knocked me right out. I slept like a baby. Also yesterday, I worked out, unfortunately for the first time since coming home but not the last!!! Working out again today after classes.
